The Vicious Cycle of a Lonely Life

Thanks But No Thanks

The Longest Distance in the World Is From the Head to the Heart

Sometimes (if not, most of the time), I think I think too much. I am also a very critical person by nature. Add these two into the equation and that makes me a critical thinker, which makes me take the courses of my actions led by reasons but…

To Part or Not to Part?

Recently, as some of you know, I've resigned from my lecturing job at my university. It wasn't an easy decision but there're a few reasons behind the resignation. First, I started another clothing line and I need more time to run the business…

My name is Aaron Lam (also known as Aaroink) and I am based in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo (Sabah), Malaysia. I am a freelance Graphic Designer (who does provides services on graphic design, layout design, Desktop Publishing, Branding, Corporate Identity, Logo Design, Business Card design, Letterhead design, Label design, Packaging design, Web Design, Merchandise Design, Advertising, Banner design, Billboard design, Book cover design, Brochure design, Catalog design, Menu design, Wedding Invite design, Wedding Card design, WordPress Web Design), Illustrator (illustration, drawings, hand-drawn), Typographer (typography, calligrapher). More than just 2D design, I work a lot with printing methods and finishing too, such as
Spot UV, Hot Stamping, Gold foil, Foil, Emboss, Deboss, Matt Lamination, Glossy Lamination). I worked as a part time lecturer teaching on Graphic Design, Typography, Computer Graphics (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator) and Design Management classes. My name is Aaron Lam and I am a freelance Graphic Designer, Entrepreneur (I own a clothing line called Individium and designer’s collective store called Supermart Collective) and I use to be a Lecturer (teaching subjects such as Graphic Design, Typography and Computer Graphics). A perfectionist and creative thinker by nature, I hold high ideals about design in the media world. My designs usually speak loudly of my beliefs and philosophy in using visuals to engage and impact the audience. I believe design and creativity can be used for a greater cause. Through the years, I’ve discovered how design can speak louder than the world’s most convincing communicators and change the lives of others who crosses its path. I want to use design and creativity to feed the poor (and I am using the terms “feed” and “poor” very loosely to refer to meeting the needs of others). “With great power comes great responsibility.” Design is my God-given power and to contribute to the lives of others is my responsibility.
