I must admit, I have not seen such an awesome action packed show for such a long time. Die Hard 4.0 is simply awesome. This time, I didn’t drink so much water before the movie (I’ve learnt my lesson). And Bruce Willis was just exactly the right person for the show. I bet I wouldn’t even consider watching it if Leonardo DiCaprio was the lead actor, you know what I mean. It’s definitely a must see from me.
“Why are you doing this?” Matt asked. “Because no one else would.” McClane answered.
Well, I wouldn’t want to spoil the movie for those who have not watched it yet but basically McClane was doing everything he was doing because no one else dared to step up to the obstacles and challenges. Sadly, in reality, we all want to live in our own comfort zone and refuse to embrace challenges and obstacles because it may require a sacrifice of our time, energy, money and etc. Often, we choose the easy way out. We quit. But let’s see what does the Bible have to say about these situations?
More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3-5)
And God never allows us to face problems which we are too big for us.
Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Are you now going through an impossibly ‘no way’ situation in life? Well, God is still there in the midst of it. And He will provide us a way out when there seems to be no other way. His ‘Die Hard’ faithfulness and grace is all you need and it is ever sufficient for you in every way.
