Transformers

Life lesson learnt when watching movies: DO NOT buy soft drinks. I was trying to hold in the flow the whole time in the bone chilling cinema in I0I Mall when I watched Transformers just now. But I couldn’t help but buy a small sized ice lemon tea because I was too thirsty. I thought the liquid would somehow dissipate and be put to good use to hydrate parts of my dehydrated body. I was dead wrong. It all ended up in the bladder. Worse, Transformers is the kind of movie which you cannot afford to leave for the washroom even for a single moment! Not even a blink! The results? Me with a purple face running to the toilet right after the show. Thank goodness I made it on time. Phew…

“At the end of the day, one shall stand and one shall fall.” – Optimus Prime

It’s like the coolest phrase for the whole movie. And this catchy but undying truth just kept ringing in my head. At the end of the day, One side shall stand victorious and the other defeated.

Which side are you on?

“Excuse me?” you ask. Well, what I meant is exactly what I meant, which side are you on in this life? The winning team with God (the Almighty)? Or the defeated team with this fallen world and it’s prince, the devil (the sore loser)? And if you don’t mind me asking, how sure are you that you are on the right side?

When the Son of Man comes in His glory with all of His angels, He will sit on His royal throne. The people of all nations will be brought before Him, and He will separate them, as shepherds separate their sheep from their goats. He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, “My Father has blessed you! Come and receive the kingdom that was prepared for you before the world was created… Then the King will say to those on His left, “Get away from Me! You are under God’s curse. Go into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels! (Matthew 25:31-41)

Are you His sheep? Or are you just a goat pretending to be His sheep?

Choose wisely. At the end of the day, the Holy One and only those who belong to Him shall stand victorious.
